Dubai smokers can buy three IQOS Iluma i devices in 2026: the compact Iluma i ONE, the standard Iluma i with a touch screen holder, and the premium Iluma i PRIME. Every Iluma heats real tobacco without burning it, using a bladeless induction system, and every model works only with TEREA sticks; HEETS from older IQOS devices do not fit.
Which IQOS Iluma devices can you buy in Dubai?
You can buy the IQOS Iluma i ONE, the standard IQOS Iluma i and the IQOS Iluma i PRIME in Dubai. The ONE is a compact all in one device, the standard i is a two piece kit with a touch screen, and the PRIME is the premium two piece kit.
The full range sits in one place under IQOS ILUMA devices and TEREA on this store. This table compares the three kits.
| Device | Format | Key features | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| IQOS Iluma i ONE | Compact all in one, holder and battery combined | Autostart, FlexPuff, USB-C charging | First time Iluma buyers and pocket carry |
| IQOS Iluma i (Standard) | Holder plus pocket charger | Touch Screen, Pause Mode, FlexPuff, FlexBattery, Autostart | Daily smokers who want control and battery reserve |
| IQOS Iluma i PRIME | Premium holder plus wrapped pocket charger | Full feature set: Touch Screen, Pause Mode, FlexPuff, FlexBattery | Smokers who want the premium finish |
What is the difference between Iluma i ONE, Iluma i and Iluma i PRIME?
The difference is format and features, not the tobacco experience: all three use the same bladeless SMARTCORE induction heating and the same TEREA sticks. The ONE combines everything in one compact body, the standard i splits holder and charger and adds a touch screen, and the PRIME adds premium materials.
The IQOS Iluma i ONE is the simplest start: pick it up and it starts automatically, with no separate charger to carry. The standard kit, sold as the IQOS Iluma i Leaf Green and the IQOS Iluma i Standard Electric Purple, adds Pause Mode for interruptions and FlexBattery for how the battery is used. The IQOS Iluma i PRIME in Aspen Green wraps the pocket charger in a premium finish and completes the top of the range.
Does IQOS Iluma use TEREA or HEETS?
IQOS Iluma uses TEREA sticks only. HEETS do not work in any Iluma device, because Iluma heats the metal element sealed inside each TEREA stick by induction, with no blade. Older blade based IQOS devices are the ones that use HEETS, and the two stick types are not interchangeable.
TEREA sticks are closed at both ends, so no tobacco falls into the device and there is no blade to snap or scrape clean. This store stocks TEREA for Iluma, including TEREA Black Ruby, an Indonesia market variant with a strong menthol tobacco profile, sold in cartons of 10 packs and 200 sticks. Stick choice is about flavour family: regular tobacco, menthol and aromatic blends. Pick your device first, then your stick.
IQOS Iluma or a pod vape: which one suits you better?
Choose Iluma if you want the taste and ritual of real tobacco without smoke, ash or lighter. Choose a pod vape if you want bottled flavours, adjustable nicotine strengths and no tobacco at all. Both are rechargeable and pocket sized, but the consumable is completely different: TEREA sticks versus e liquid pods.
Smokers switching from cigarettes usually settle faster on Iluma because the draw and taste stay close to tobacco. Vapers who already left tobacco behind rarely go back. If you are weighing the pod route, compare the devices in our best pod systems in the UAE guide, and read how strengths compare in nicotine strength explained before you pick a nicotine level in either system.
How much does IQOS Iluma cost to run in Dubai?
Iluma running cost is the device once, then TEREA sticks as your ongoing spend. A carton holds 200 sticks, so a pack a day smoker can plan stick buying monthly instead of daily. There are no coils, blades or e liquid to replace, which keeps the running parts list at one item.
The honest comparison is against your current cigarette spend, not against vaping: heated tobacco usually lands near cigarettes on daily cost, and wins on cleanliness rather than savings. Live prices for every kit and stick sit on the product pages in the IQOS category, and the wider picture of device types in Dubai is covered in our Vape Dubai buying guide.
Where can you buy IQOS Iluma in Dubai with delivery?
You can order IQOS Iluma devices and TEREA sticks online from this store with express delivery in 1 hour, normal same day delivery, and free delivery on orders above 300 AED. The store is open 9am to 9pm, so order before 9pm for same day delivery.
Express delivery costs 50 AED and normal same day delivery costs 30 AED, with the areas and timing set out on our Dubai delivery page. A device kit on its own clears the free delivery threshold, and adding a carton of TEREA to the same order means you can smoke the day the device arrives instead of waiting for a second delivery.
Frequently asked questions
Is IQOS Iluma legal to buy in Dubai?
Yes. Heated tobacco devices and TEREA sticks are sold legally in the UAE by licensed retailers to adults, in the same regulated framework as other tobacco products.
Can I use HEETS in an IQOS Iluma?
No. Iluma has no blade and heats the element inside TEREA sticks by induction. HEETS are built for older blade devices and are not compatible with any Iluma model.
Does IQOS Iluma need cleaning?
There is no blade to clean and TEREA sticks are sealed, so no loose tobacco builds up inside the holder. A simple wipe of the holder is all the maintenance the system asks for.
Which Iluma is the best first device?
The Iluma i ONE is the natural first device: one compact unit, autostart, and nothing extra to carry. Move to the standard i or PRIME when you want the touch screen, Pause Mode and a separate pocket charger.
Can IQOS Iluma be delivered the same day in Dubai?
Yes. Express delivery arrives within 1 hour, normal delivery is same day, and delivery is free on orders above 300 AED when you order before 9pm.
